Storyboard

Our trailer is a psychological horror/thriller and throughout the storyboard I tried to convey the different emotions/actions the characters would face. The figures are not character specific as we knew we would end up changing and switching roles/actions of each character as we filmed.
The trailer begins with a slow zoom out which shows the outside of a tunnel, before the camera comes to a stop at the four characters; shifting focus from one protagonist to the second. A straight-cut shows one of the protagonists in the circle with a bloodied face (extreme close-up) before a straight-cut to a montage of violence that takes place in the movie.
We decided to have shots of calming scenes that break up the excessive violence and give the audience periodic breaks - these shots are where we could possible have quotes/ratings/words appear in relation to the film.

Juxtaposing shots of characters laughing/screaming/spaced out will present their dissociative and split disorders/personalities as it switches from scene to scene, before ending on a shot of all the characters standing at a shoreline and looking out into the water, representing the tranquility or peace they have all found from coming together and sharing/understanding their violent tendencies with one another.
